The Truth Watch You're Already Wearing

A silver wristwatch with one hand and the words True or False on its face

Imagine that one night at a party, a stranger gives you a small gift. They only ask that you wait until the next morning to open it.

The next morning you wake up and remember the gift. But you can't remember who gave it to you, and that makes you even more curious. So you open the box, and inside there's a watch.

It's not a normal watch. It only has one hand. And there are no numbers on the face, just the words "True" or "False."

Something makes you put it on anyway. You look at it and ask, "Can this watch really tell me the truth?" And the hand swings over to "True."

So you say, "This is crazy. I must be dreaming." And the hand swings back to "False."

Now imagine how your life would be if you had a watch like that. How much easier would it be to know the truth about a person, or an event, or a choice you have to make? It would be like having your own kind of lie detector.

Well, you already have one. It's not a wristwatch. It's the way we're wired. Our intuition is made to tell us whether something is true or false.

We've all had those moments when an answer just pops into your head. It feels right, even if it doesn't make any logical sense. Some part of you just knows. People call it following your intuition, or trusting your gut.

But most people don't really notice it. And when the pressure's on and you really need an answer, it's not so easy to find. If you could calm your mind down, you could make that connection whenever you choose. That's what Truth Whispering is for. We use Intuitive Response, which is muscle testing, to ask our Higher Self a question and get a clear yes or no.

For me, it started with numbers. I'd be muscle testing, asking for a number on a scale of one to a hundred, and 72 would just pop into my head. So I'd ask, "Is it 72?" And the answer was yes. After a while it was words, and later on whole conversations.

But it really goes back to when I was 12. I decided to become a vegetarian. I didn't know any vegetarians. There weren't any in my world. It just felt right. I knew it was right, but I couldn't explain it in any rational way.

My parents thought it was a phase I was going through, and that I'd get over it. Everybody around me thought I was strange. But I trusted that feeling, and I've been a vegetarian ever since. I guess it was my first connection with my Higher Self.

Something to try

Think of a time when an answer just popped into your head, and it felt right. Ask yourself how it felt. Did you follow it? What happened?

Then imagine what a difference it would make in your day-to-day life if you could get that kind of answer any time you wanted.

Most of us don't notice these moments when they happen. Remembering one is a simple way to start noticing them. You can do it right now, or later when you have a quiet minute.

Some of you have already started on this path, and for some of you it's brand new. Either way is okay. Just try it and see.
